Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Announces Spring and Eid Holidays for Educational Institutions

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has declared holidays for all public and private educational institutions in observance of Eid ul Fitr and the spring season. According to notifications issued by the Elementary and Secondary Education Department and the Higher Education Department on Wednesday, the holiday schedules are as follows:

Elementary and Secondary Education Institutions: Closed from April 1 to April 8, 2025. During this period, principals, head teachers, and clerical staff are required to be present from April 3 to April 8 to distribute free textbooks and manage new student enrollments as part of the ongoing admission campaign.​

Higher Education Institutions: Closed from March 29 to April 7, 2025, allowing staff and students to celebrate Eid ul Fitr.​

Regular academic activities are set to resume on April 9, 2025. These measures aim to facilitate the observance of Eid ul Fitr and ensure a smooth transition into the new academic session.
