Sindh Declares March 28 Public Holiday for Educational Institutions

In observance of Shab-e-Qadr, the Sindh government has announced a public holiday on Friday, March 28, 2025, for all educational institutions across the province. This decision applies to both public and private schools and colleges, facilitating religious observance during the final days of Ramadan.

This announcement follows similar declarations in other provinces. In Punjab, educational institutions will observe a nine-day Eidul Fitr holiday, commencing on March 28. Similarly, the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government has scheduled spring holidays from April 1 to April 8, during which school staff will manage admissions and textbook distribution for the upcoming academic session.

The Sindh government’s initiative underscores its commitment to accommodating religious practices, ensuring that students and educators can observe significant occasions without academic interruptions.
